What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that gently removes dead skin cells along with unwanted facial hair. Skin is left instantly brighter and smoother.

How does Dermaplaning work?

Dermaplaning requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently "shave" the skin's surface. This gently removes the the dead skin along with the fine vellus hair.

What are the benefits of Dermaplaning?

As well as promoting smoother, healthy and younger looking skin, Dermaplaning provides a deeper product penetration and a more flawless application of make up. This safe procedure removes ‘peach fuzz’ belly’s hair off the face and removes dead skin cells along with trapped dirt and oil.

How many treatments are necessary?

Results are instant following first treatment and frequency of treatments are a personal preference, however 21 days worth of dead skin cells are removed so it’s best to wait at least this time period between treatments.

Who is suitable for treatment?

Dermaplaning is suitable for all skin types and is also safe to have done whilst pregnant.
